Suvie Gift Cards allow you to buy gift cards for your family or friends. This is what we highly recommend if you'd like to gift a Suvie appliance or Suvie Meal credits. By using a gift card, the recipient will be able to set up their own Suvie account on purchase and start ordering Suvie Meals right away. Click here to find out more.

Giving Suvie as a Gift
Suvie makes a great gift! Whether you’re purchasing a Suvie for someone else or you’ve just received one, here’s everything you need to know about meal requirements, account setup, and who is responsible for what.
Meal Requirement
Most Suvie appliances come with a required meal purchase commitment.
By default, the person who buys the Suvie is responsible for fulfilling this meal requirement.
Since the person who buys the Suvie will have their email and credit card connected to the Suvie Meal planner account, we highly recommend using a Suvie gift card to allow your intended gift recipient to set up their own account upon appliance purchase.
Note: Meal requirements do not apply to SV1 appliances.
If You Are Giving Suvie as a Gift (Without Using a Gift Card)
When purchasing Suvie as a gift, you have two options for handling the meal requirement:
Option 1: You Cover the Meal Requirement
You can choose to fulfill the requirement yourself by:
Prepaying the required meal amount upfront, or
Ordering meals until the requirement is met.
Option 2: Transfer the Meal Requirement to the Recipient
If you'd prefer the recipient to take on the meal requirement:
Simply let them know about the requirement ahead of time.
The recipient will enter their own payment information when setting up their account.
If You Received Suvie as a Gift
If you received Suvie as a gift, you may be wondering who is responsible for the meal requirement.
Here's how it works:
1. The Purchaser Usually Covers It
In most cases, the original purchaser is responsible for fulfilling the required meal purchases.
2. The Responsibility Can Be Transferred to You
If the giver chose to transfer the meal requirement to you, you’ll be asked to enter a payment method when setting up your Suvie account.
Setting Up Your Account
Depending on how the gift was arranged:
If the Original Purchaser Is Keeping Their Account
You’ll simply create your own new Suvie account using your personal email and payment method.
If the Suvie Was Purchased Specifically for You
The purchaser may choose to have their account transferred to you.
In this case, our team can update the account details (name, email, address) so the appliance is linked to you instead of the original buyer.
Important Notes
If the original purchaser fulfilled the meal requirement using their own card, they may need to update or remove their payment method after the requirement is complete.
To avoid accidental charges to the gift giver, make sure your payment method is added once you take over the account.
