Reheating foods is easy and can be scheduled ahead with Suvie. Our reheat function utilizes the same water circulation function as sous vide, slow cook, and proof mode, for even, constant temperature that won't dry out your meal. And unlike a microwave, you won't get hot spots mixed with ice cold sections of food.
Follow the steps below for the best results:
1) Transfer your food to a Suvie pan and insert into the top or bottom of your Suvie.
2) Ensure the water reservoir is filled to the line indicated on the side of Suvie (you may not need to refill the reservoir each time).
3) Select the reheat function and enter your desired reheat time. Keep in mind that dense foods like casseroles and lasagnas may need more heat up time than individual ingredients like chicken breasts or roasted vegetables.
4) Option to schedule: because reheat mode uses water circulation to heat your food, this function can be scheduled in advance. Simply load your meal into the Suvie before work, schedule it to be ready when you come home, and have a hot meal waiting for you. Click here to learn more about our Cool-To-Cook technology.
5) After reheating we recommend broiling your meal if you'd like a crisp finish or crunchy top.

We love making a double batch of lasagnas, casseroles, or tray bakes and saving one to reheat and enjoy later in the week. Here are some of our favorites that can easily be reheated in Suvie. We would recommend reheating in Suvie for about an hour to ensure the interior is sufficiently hot.
